Jay Schwarz has been practicing architecture in Annapolis and the Mid-Atlantic region for over three decades. At ease with a contemporary parti as well as historic preservation, Jay has a well-earned reputation for his sensitive integration of a diverse project type within an existing built environ. Spearheading the firm’s sustainable design efforts, in addition to his success in marshaling the quagmire of codes and ordinances, is well documented. Jay’s range of work - the seemingly simple or resoundingly complex, the large institutional/commercial project or the more intimate residential addition and renovation project - Jay’s forte’ is the synergy of design and management.
